Domestic Violence Advocacy Program
To provide advocacy and support to the victims of domestic violence, provide information about the court process and be a supportive presence in Family Court hearings. Because this position requires training, we ask for a commitment of one year to the program and volunteers must be able to work at least two 4-hour shifts per month. Daytime availability required. Special Events
Volunteer to become a BLUE-WHITE, Inc. Board Member. The Board helps to facilitate the Senior All Star Soccer Games, Girls’ game in the Spring and Boys’ game in the Fall. Please contact Jeff Jackson at (302) 762-8989.

Runaway/Homeless Youth Host Home
CHILD, Inc. is searching for Host Families to provide safe and temporary shelter for Runaway & Homeless Youth in our community. If you have room in your heart and home and are interested in hearing more about becoming a Host Home please contact Diana Hartley at (302) 762-8989 or dhartley@childinc.com with "Host Home Interest" in the subject line.
Host Homes:
- Provide a caring, safe, & nurturing atmosphere
- Provide appropriate supervision
- Provide healthy meals
- Treat each youth as an individual
- Enforce the same rules for the host youth as you would for your own youth
- Are compensated $100 a day when a youth is residing with them
